The Kokomo Flipsters was founded in 1985 by Dianne (Di) Laudenschlager, who still ownes it today! 

​

Di grew up in Ohio and attend Ohio State University. She was a member of the OSU Gymnastics team and then became an assistant coach. Once she moved to Kokomo, she worked for The Gymnastics Factory for a few years then purchased the business in 1985. The first facility was located on Superior across from Foster Park. In 1997, she built a new building to hold her growing business, which is located on West Boulevard. After outgrowing that building size, she added onto her building in 2017. This addition added more balance beams, another spring floor, a 40' long tumble track, a foam pit and a ninja course, similar to what you see on TV!

 

 

Over the years, Di has produces many champions in the sport of gymnastics at the state and regional levels and numerous regional and national qualifiers. She has even produced Team Champions!

Gymnastics is her passion and sharing it with the youth is her dream come true!

Our philosophy is to raise your child's self-esteem by teaching gymnastics with enthusiasm in a fun, safe, and professional atmosphere.

 

Through progressive gymnastics instruction, our program is designed to enrich your child's self-confidence, coordination, flexibility, and physical strength.  With a combination of student dedication and our professional staff. the Flipster's have developed a gymnastics and cheerleading program of excellence.
